A grand, emotive orchestral journey through England's green and pleasant land, taking in coast, countryside and the gardens and palaces of the King himself. Composed by our late friend and esteemed composer John Ashton Thomas (1961-2021), the album was recorded in 2023 by The Slovak National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Johannes Vogel at the Slovak Radio Studio in Bratislava. Special thanks to Gavin Greenaway for his assistance. This is a tribute not only to the country we call home, but to John too.
