The terms are related in that both of them reflect the unknown. Mysticism is based on the belief in higher powers and an ultimate reality being obtained by intuition and insight as opposed to an ordinary sense of being. I get that. The inexplicable connectedness we sometimes feel with places, people, sights and sounds. Like a whisper of a presence, when we think we are alone. Have you ever experienced something like this? Or are you more active in your spirituality and prefer waving a wand around, chanting something like abrakadabra & hokus pokus to make some magic happen? I know one thing for sure – if you don't believe in magic or mysticism, you will never figure out what any of this is all about.
