The Architect

The Architect is a French DJ, producer and beatmaker whose musical universe moves effortlessly between hip-hop, jazz, soul, funk, reggae and electronic music. A passionate vinyl collector and dedicated crate digger, he has spent more than two decades crafting a body of work driven by sampling, artistic collaboration and an insatiable curiosity for musical cultures from around the world.

He first gained widespread recognition with his 2013 EP Foundations, featuring standout tracks such as Les Pensées and Dreader Than Dread, recorded with L'Entourloop and Skarra Mucci. The project launched an international touring career, allowing him to develop a distinctive sound where organic grooves, global influences and contemporary production blend seamlessly.

Alongside his work with L'Entourloop and Bloc., The Architect has continued to build an acclaimed solo career with Une plage sur la lune, followed by a series of collaborative projects and new singles that further showcase his passion for experimentation and musical cross-pollination. His productions combine acoustic instruments, carefully crafted samples, orchestral arrangements and urban rhythms into richly cinematic compositions.
