Roma Luca
Roma Luca is the solo project of French singer-songwriter Camille Luca, also known as the bassist and vocalist of indie rock band Ottis Cœur. Through Roma Luca, she has crafted a deeply personal musical universe at the crossroads of French chanson, alternative rock and dark, introspective pop.
Her lyrics, shaped by themes of doubt, desire and loss, are carried by sharp-edged guitars and raw, textured arrangements that evoke artists such as PJ Harvey and Angel Olsen, while remaining firmly rooted in the contemporary French independent scene.
Following the release of several acclaimed singles, including Invisible Figure and Sleep Paralysis, she unveiled her debut EP Invisible Figure in 2025. She continued this artistic journey with Séléné in 2026, a new chapter that further expands her distinctive blend of alternative rock, folk and French songwriting. On stage, Roma Luca captivates audiences with an intense yet vulnerable presence, where voice and lyrics take centre stage.
Alongside her solo work, she has also lent her voice to a variety of collaborative projects, notably Mayday in the Cloud by Arom, featured on Parigo's Trap in the Cloud album. This collaboration highlights her ability to move effortlessly between alternative rock, singer-songwriter music and music for screen.
Through every composition, Roma Luca explores vulnerability, emotional tension and the complexities of everyday life with remarkable honesty, balancing the intensity of her lyrics with the expressive power of her guitar-driven sound.
