Offset Prod

OFFSET PROD, real name Nicolas Pisani, is a French composer, producer, sound engineer and sound designer whose musical journey is rooted in hip-hop culture and electronic music. Raised in the Toulon area, he discovered scratching as a teenager, drawing inspiration from artists such as Q-Bert, Cut Chemist and D-Styles, before moving into beatmaking and music production.

Under the name OFFSET PROD, he has developed a distinctive sound at the crossroads of hip-hop, glitch, abstract electronic music, garage and drum & bass. In 2012, he released The Interlude EP on DJ Brace’s label Nostomania Records, a project blending electronic rhythms, experimental textures and immersive atmospheres.

Alongside his work as a composer and producer, OFFSET PROD has developed extensive expertise in sound engineering, sound design, mixing and mastering, particularly within electronic music. His technical command of the studio directly informs his approach to composition, with a strong focus on texture, rhythm and the sculpting of sound.

His career has also led him into production music and composition for visual media. For PARIGO, he has notably collaborated with DJ Hertz on several tracks from the album Synthwave Retrowave, exploring the aesthetics of synthwave and retrowave through evocative, cinematic electronic productions.

Combining beat culture, sonic experimentation and technical studio expertise, OFFSET PROD has developed a versatile creative approach in which composition, production and sound design come together as part of a single musical language.
