Minimatic

MINIMATIC is a French composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose musical universe blends electronic music, jazz, soul, pop and vintage-inspired sounds. Through what he describes as a "retro-modern" aesthetic, he reimagines the sonic heritage of the past using contemporary production techniques, creating music that is elegant, warm and instantly evocative.

After beginning his musical journey as a rock drummer, he taught himself piano, bass and composition before establishing himself as one of France's leading figures in electro-swing, nu-soul and production music. His work is distinguished by refined songwriting in which acoustic instruments, analogue synthesizers and organic grooves blend seamlessly into a distinctive sonic identity.

A composer for screen and production music for more than two decades, MINIMATIC has created music for advertising, media productions and major international music libraries. His album Pigalle Bizarre, awarded a prestigious Mark Award in Los Angeles, perfectly illustrates his affinity for cinematic worlds where elegance, humour and retro influences coexist. More recently, Riviera Bizarre extends this artistic vision through a collection of compositions inspired by the French Riviera, combining easy listening, soul, exotica and orchestral pop into richly atmospheric soundscapes.
