Loïc Laporte

Loïc Laporte is a French composer, arranger, music producer and multi-instrumentalist whose musical universe is shaped by a wide range of influences, from French chanson and pop to jazz, film music and children's repertoire. Based in Toulouse, he has spent more than two decades cultivating a hands-on approach to music creation, bringing together composition, orchestration, performance, recording and music production within a single creative process.

An exceptionally versatile musician, Loïc Laporte performs on a wide range of instruments—including saxophones, clarinets, flutes, guitars, bass, banjo, piano and keyboards—which enrich a musical language that is both melodic, expressive and deeply evocative. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists including Zebda, Arthur H, Loïc Lantoine, Éric Lareine and Hervé Suhubiette, while working as a performer, arranger and music producer on projects spanning albums, live performances, theatre and audiovisual productions.

Alongside his work as a composer for screen and production music, Loïc Laporte collaborates with leading publishers and content producers including Didier Jeunesse, Milan Presse, Fleurus, Wagram, France 3 and TAT Productions. His work is distinguished by a particular attention to storytelling, instrumental colour and the craft of arranging, regardless of the format or audience.

He has also developed an extensive catalogue of arrangements of traditional nursery rhymes and children's songs, reimagining this timeless repertoire through contemporary production, refined orchestration and a strong emphasis on acoustic instruments.
