Jean Pierre Ménager

Jean-Pierre Ménager is a French composer, arranger, conductor and multi-instrumentalist whose career reflects remarkable artistic versatility. Classically trained from an early age, he has developed a musical language that moves effortlessly between jazz, French chanson, music for screen, theatre and large-scale orchestral writing.

Recipient of several prestigious awards, including the ORTF Accordion Prize, Jean-Pierre Ménager has built an international career that has taken him to more than eighty countries, notably as conductor aboard the French cruise liner Le Mermoz. These experiences have shaped a generous musical vision in which diverse influences come together while retaining their own distinctive character.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading artists including Maurice André, James Galway, François Jeanneau, Michel Leeb, Jean-Claude Brialy, Charles Dumont and Isabelle Aubret. A prolific composer, he has written more than 650 works, contributed to over fifty albums, and composed extensively for film, radio, live performance and production music.
