F.Stokes

F. Stokes, born Rodney Lucas, is a rapper, songwriter and storyteller from Chicago's South Side. Blending hip-hop, spoken word and soul, he has developed a deeply narrative style where personal experiences, social observation and a message of hope come together through honest and compelling songwriting.

Widely recognised for his lyrical depth and powerful stage presence, F. Stokes has performed around the world alongside artists including Nas, Mos Def, Pusha T, Erykah Badu, Redman, DMX and Bastille. He has also appeared at major international festivals such as the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Essence Festival, Voodoo Festival, Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival and Summer Set Festival.

Beyond his music career, F. Stokes is deeply committed to education and creative empowerment. Through his project Rappin' Ricky, he explores the educational potential of hip-hop by creating an animated young rapper designed to inspire children of all backgrounds through music, storytelling and creativity.
