Drixxxé
Drixxxé, born Cédric Aubrun, is a French producer, beatmaker and composer whose musical universe draws on hip-hop, film soundtracks and electronic music. A passionate crate digger and sampling enthusiast, he has spent more than two decades crafting a distinctive sound where vintage grooves, cinematic textures and contemporary production come together with remarkable freedom.
First gaining recognition as a member of the French hip-hop group Triptik, Drixxxé quickly established himself as one of the country's leading beatmakers. Alongside his work with the group, he has produced and remixed music for artists including Yelle, Lomepal and The Rodeo, while exploring new creative directions through his side project McLuvin.
A devoted collector of film soundtracks, Drixxxé paid tribute to the golden age of 1970s cinema through his acclaimed Sextapes mixtape series, which received international recognition from publications including Nova, Wax Poetics and Okayplayer. His passion for cinematic music naturally extends to composing for feature films, documentaries, television and audiovisual productions.
With his debut solo album, conceived as the soundtrack to an imaginary film, Drixxxé brings together 1970s pop, electronic music and classical influences in a deeply cinematic body of work. Through every composition, he continues to explore the dialogue between musical heritage and contemporary creation, using sound as a powerful medium for storytelling.
