Cyril Laurent

Cyril Laurent is a French composer, producer and musician whose work explores the worlds of ambient, electronic and cinematic music. Through his solo project LAMBWOOL, launched in 2000, he has developed a contemplative musical language where immersive soundscapes, analogue textures and delicate melodies come together to create richly atmospheric compositions.

Inspired by artists such as Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream and Dead Can Dance, Cyril Laurent blends sonic experimentation with emotional depth, crafting a distinctive artistic identity that has earned recognition from the specialist music press and led to collaborations with numerous French and international artists.

Alongside his solo work, he composes extensively for film and television, with music featured on broadcasters including Canal+, France 3 and France 5. His catalogue is also represented internationally by leading production music companies such as Bucks Music Group, 5 Alarm Music and Spirit Production Music.

Driven by a constant desire to explore new sonic territories, Cyril Laurent also develops experimental projects such as Hexahedre, created in collaboration with JB Hanak. Combining ambient music, electronics and organic textures, the project unfolds as a hypnotic, cinematic and deeply immersive experience.

Through every composition, Cyril Laurent continues to pursue the same artistic vision: creating soundscapes that inspire emotion, imagination and contemplation.
