After In Paris
After in Paris is a trio of composers and instrumentalists featuring Claire Michael (saxophone, flute and vocals), Jean-Michel Vallet (keyboards) and Patrick Chartol (bass and double bass). Together, they create a distinctive musical universe where jazz, cinematic composition, electronic music and orchestral textures come together to produce elegant, evocative and emotionally rich soundscapes.
With more than 1,000 compositions written for production music, After in Paris creates original works for film, television, radio, theatre and audiovisual productions. Their music combines acoustic instruments, electronic textures, ambient sound design and jazz influences, offering a versatile musical palette designed to enhance storytelling and emotion.
The trio has performed at numerous international festivals and venues across France, Brazil, Austria, Turkey and Azerbaijan. Individually, its members have also collaborated with renowned artists including Johnny Hallyday, Jacques Higelin, MC Solaar, Manu Dibango, Didier Lockwood, William Sheller, Paolo Fresu and Dave Liebman.
Driven by a shared artistic vision, After in Paris continues to explore a musical language that is at once contemporary, cinematic and timeless, where every composition is conceived as an invitation to travel through sound and emotion.
